So, today is my Blogiversary (and is that not just the most awkward word ever? Honestly.) I know that I technically have not been writing all that time having taken a pretty substantial hiatus over the summer, but hey – I takes my celebrations (and cake!) where I can gets them. One year ago today (actually one year ago yesterday) I was driving home from the mine site where I was working and thinking that I could prolly stand to put down in words some of the things that I was thinking about how my “real” life and my Warcraft life mirror each other so often. And so oddly.

So, I wrote this. (Not bad for a very first effort if I do say so myself.)

I don’t know what people usually do on these blogiversary (ugh!) posts, so I’ve decided that the best thing to do is give out some awards! To myself! (I mean, it’s not like anyone else is going to do it. Sort of like why I buy flowers for myself, come to think of it.) Ready? Here we go!

First commentor: Larisa of the Pink Pigtail Inn. Larisa, I adore you, and if I was allowed to pick my own big sister, it would be you. I know that there’s lots of people out there in the blogsphere that feel the same way, and have said so, but it’s worth repeating. It really is.

Lastly, I took a peek at my search terms. “Oriniwen” was the top, which is interesting to say the least. People are looking for me out there on the interwebs. Why? What do you want? Second was “Artisan Level”. Oh, I guess they’re looking for my blog. “Where is Ulduar” gets a lot of hits as well. It’s in Storm Peaks, you guys. Look for the big “U-L-D-U-A-R” up in the north-north-east bit of the map. Lots of people are looking for variations on “where the heck is the Ulduar repair guy?” Soon as you zone in, it’s the big ogre on the right. With the goblin on his shoulders. Jov and/or Seri seem to be checking out who is linking to them as well – that’s generated me a few search term hits. I also have more than a few people looking for general Warcraft ERP and one person who wanted to know specifically about gnome/human ERP. I don’t think this site is what they were after, to be honest.

I wish I had some of the crazy search terms that other people seem to come up with, though. I’ll leave you guys with a few thoughts to get you through the next year of Artisan Parenthetical Asides*: kodo crap, sexy draenei tails, I love hooves, tauren storage, half a stack of peacebloom, the login dragon, I want to be tied up by a gnome warlock, where is Mankrik’s wife?
